Modern Standard Arabic (MSA)

Classical Arabic, also known as Al-Fusha or Modern Standard Arabic, is the perfect choice if your goal is to:

  • Master formal or religious speech

  • Read Arabic books, newspapers, or magazines

  • Study Islamic Sharia anywhere in the world

  • Enroll in Al-Azhar University in Egypt

  • Join divinity colleges in the USA or Europe

  • Pursue Middle East or Strategic Studies programs

  • Work or live in any Arabic-speaking country

By learning Classical Arabic (Al-Fusha), you will gain the ability to read and communicate with people across all Arabic-speaking nations. This is the language Arabs learn in schools and universities, and it is recognized as the official language throughout the Arab world.

To help you achieve this, Hafiz Ulquran uses carefully selected textbooks designed specifically for teaching Arabic to non-native speakers. These books are authored by renowned professors and are widely taught at leading universities and language centers across Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Mauritania, Morocco, and Sudan.

Our experienced teachers follow a custom curriculum that combines the best methods from well-known programs such as “Arabic Between Your Hands,” “Al-Kitab Al-Asasi,” and “Noor Elbyan,” ensuring you get a comprehensive and effective learning experience.

Quranic Arabic

This course is divided into two tracks:

  1. Quranic Arabic
  2. Stories of the Prophet

1. Quranic Arabic

Our Quranic Arabic courses are designed for learners who want to deeply understand the language of the Quran and connect with its true meaning.

We begin by giving you essential background information on each Surah, including historical context, which helps you fully grasp the message and significance of the verses. Next, you’ll explore interactive learning pages for each verse, where you’ll study the meaning of every word. By clicking on any word, you can hear its correct pronunciation and see its translation instantly. Color-coded tajweed rules are also included, making it easier for you to identify and apply them as you recite.

One of the most powerful features of these courses is the variety of interactive exercises designed to make sure you understand and remember every verse. Please note, these courses focus on Quranic vocabulary and Tajweed, but they do not include grammar lessons.

• Quranic Arabic 101:

This foundational course guides you through selected verses of the Quran to help you understand classical Arabic, Tajweed phonetics, and key concepts within the verses studied. The lessons include verses frequently recited in daily prayers, along with other important passages. The course requires approximately 80 hours to complete.

2. Stories of the prophet

Our online Arabic courses focus on verses from the Quran that highlight the lives and stories of 15 prophets. We begin with the earliest prophet and move forward in chronological order, exploring their journeys and lessons in depth.

Below is a list of our Stories of the Prophets courses:

• Biography of the Prophet 101:
This course delves into the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), covering key events such as his birth, childhood, return to his people, and early involvement in trade. By the end of this course, you will gain a deeper understanding of the Prophet’s character and mission. Completion of this course requires 80 hours.

Arabic Grammar

This course is designed for students who want to master Arabic grammar through intensive study. Grammar is the backbone of the Arabic language—it teaches you how sentences are structured and ensures that you can communicate with precision.

Understanding grammar is crucial for grasping the correct meaning of sentences. Think of language as a bird: one wing is vocabulary, and the other is grammar. Without both, the bird cannot fly.

For example:
ضرب محمود محمد
Without adding the proper vowels (Fat-ha, Kasra, Dammah, etc.), you wouldn’t know who performed the action and who received it. In this course, you will learn how to correctly add these diacritical marks (Harakat) and understand the rules that govern them.

We use the classic grammar book “جامع الدروس العربية” by Mustafa Ghalayini, which is divided into three parts and covers all the essential Arabic grammar lessons.

Colloquial Egyptian

Colloquial Arabic – Speak Like a Native

Colloquial Arabic is the everyday spoken language of the Arab world. Unlike Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), which is uniform across all Arab countries, colloquial Arabic varies from region to region—even within the same country. While Arabs generally understand each other’s dialects, the level of ease depends on:

  • Geographical differences between dialects.

  • Exposure to a particular dialect through media or interaction.

Why Egyptian Colloquial Arabic?

At Hafiz Ulquran, we offer courses in Egyptian Colloquial Arabic, one of the most widely understood dialects in the Arab world. Thanks to Egypt’s rich film, TV, and media industry, the Egyptian dialect is familiar to almost every Arab, making it the ideal choice for learners who want to be understood across countries.

This course is perfect for:

  • Travel enthusiasts planning to visit Egypt or cities like Cairo, Alexandria, Hurghada, Luxor, or Sharm El Sheikh.

  • Culture lovers who want to blend seamlessly into Egyptian culture and daily life.

  • Beginners who want an easier entry into Arabic, as Egyptian colloquial is less complex than Classical Arabic and requires fewer grammar rules.

Our Curriculum: “Aneestoona”

We use the “Aneestoona” curriculum, which focuses on building essential vocabulary and training students through practical daily dialogues. These include real-life scenarios such as:

  • At the airport

  • Shopping in the market

  • Taking a taxi

  • Visiting the doctor

  • Speaking to the police

How We Teach

Our experienced teachers will guide you through dialogue-based sessions, helping you master pronunciation, sentence structure, and common expressions. While the textbook is an important tool, the core of this course is interactive conversation practice, ensuring you gain the confidence to speak like a native.
